My name is Dan Jensen and I am the author of Processing-food.com.

I have worked in the food industry all my life and have spent the last 20 years predominantly in the frozen or chilled foods sector.

My work has covered most areas from Frozen Desserts to Chilled Ready Meals, from Vegetarian Sausages to Meat Pies.

In this time I have gathered expertise in research and development, technical, process development, project management, production and learnt from some of the best people in the UK industry.

This website has been an idea of mine for the past 5 years and I have finally decided to give it a try. My aim is to provide my advice and expertise to others in the industry and hopefully provide a community for the food processing industry.
